Scope of Service
- Services include website setup based on a pre-selected template, hosting, and domain management.
- 'Design' refers to the integration of client-provided branding (colors/logo) and content into the chosen layout.
- Customizations are limited to brand colors, fonts, and content provided by the client. Bespoke coding or structural changes to the template are not included unless quoted separately.
Payment Terms
- Full payment for Year 1 is required. Work begins only after funds have cleared.
- Yearly renewal fees must be paid before the renewal date.
- Late payments may result in temporary website suspension.
Website Ownership
- The website is provided as a managed service.
- While the client owns the brand content (text and images), the underlying code, template licenses, and hosting environment remain the property of BUILDWEB.
- Migration of the site to external hosting is a billable service and is not included in the annual fee.
Hosting & Domain
- Domain names are registered and managed on behalf of the client.
- Domain and hosting prices are non-refundable once registered or renewed.
- Not responsible for downtime caused by third-party providers.
Revisions & Final Verification
- The package includes two (2) rounds of minor revisions (e.g., text corrections or image swaps) during the Review Phase.
- Once the client provides 'Final Verification' or payment is settled, the project is considered complete.
- Subsequent changes are subject to 'Minor Edit' or maintenance fees.
Maintenance & Support
- Yearly service includes basic technical support, minor content edits, and keeping the website live.
- Does not include full redesigns, advanced development, or content creation unless agreed.
Client Responsibilities & Assets
- The client must provide a Company Profile, Business Card (for branding), and high-resolution media within 7 days of the project start.
- BUILDWEB is not responsible for the quality of images provided.
- The 'Design + Build' phase will only commence once 100% of the required materials and media are received. Delays in providing assets will result in a corresponding delay in the launch date.
Suspension & Recovery
- If renewal fees are not paid within 7 days of the due date, the website will be suspended.
- A reconnection fee of RM80 may apply to restore a suspended site.
- Service may be terminated if payments are repeatedly late or website is used for illegal/harmful activities.
Refund Policy
- All payments are non-refundable once work has started.
- Hosting and domain fees are strictly non-refundable.
Liability Limitation
- Not liable for loss of business, revenue, or data, or third-party service failures.
- Liability limited to the amount paid for the service.
Changes to Terms
- Terms & Conditions may be updated at any time.
- Continued use of services implies acceptance of updated terms.
Governing Law
- These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Malaysia.
